Firstfruits Honor God
Firstfruits are an important part of life for God’s people. As an agrarian based nation, Israel was commanded to honor God by presenting the best of their crops as firstfruits unto God. The smaller first harvest is typified by the Day of Pentecost. We are offered the opportunity to be a part of that fist important harvest. We are called to train to be teachers of God’s way of life after Christ returns. Now is the time to prepare for the firstfruit role of the future.
