To Make Ready a People
The Church exists now for a reason more important than just our personal salvation. As John the Baptist prepared the way for Christ’s first coming, so will a John the Baptist type prepare the way for His second coming. Coming in the spirit and power of Elijah, doing a work which will “make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” We are being prepared as a temple to which Christ will return.
