I Thessalonians Part 3 (4:13-18) and Part 4 (5:1-11)
Paul’s letter to the church in Thessalonica contained a great deal of encouragement. However Paul wanted them to continue to grow spiritually and not become complacent. To this end he held out the hope of the end result of their efforts – the hope of the resurrection. With that hope in mind he also encouraged them to live as though Christ’s return and the resurrection were major factors in their lives to motivate them to be ready.
