The Art of Contentment
We currently live in very uncertain and chaotic times. Life can be unsettling and many are experiencing mental health issues. Depression and anxiety are on an unprecedented rise. Substance abuse and overdoses have seen a significant increase. People are not content. God tells us not to be anxious and that He will not forsake us. Through the Apostle Paul, God tells us to be content in whatever state we find ourselves. God has provided various means whereby we can be content in the midst of a world swirling all about us. It comprises seeing God’s purpose within our lives, being an example unto others, living by the core values God has given us, strengthening one another and having faith and trust in God’s overall purpose.
