Gambling – A Moral Issue
There is no scripture from the Word of God that explicitly states that gambling is a sin. Nowhere can we find a scripture that states, “You shall not gamble”. So, what do we do in a situation like this? The only thing one can do and what God expects us to do every day of our lives. That is to discern by godly principles.
Gambling is ultimately about money and wealth. The Bible is not silent about money and wealth, especially in regards to God’s people. Riches are the basis of many of the evil things that happen within this world. In this study we will explore many scriptures that reveal the moral issues surrounding the practice of gambling.
