Yes… Humility Is Foundational
The Day of Pentecost is just 3 weeks away. And of course, that day pictures the small first fruit harvest with Jesus Christ being the first of those first fruits — the first Seed of the Kingdom of God [ I Corinthians 15:20] with the people of God making up the rest of this small first harvest — ruling with Christ in God’s Kingdom. All of the first fruits in that number will need to possess certain leadership traits. Although there are several traits, today we’d like to focus primarily on humility — a trait that is foundational and essential to our present spiritual development and our future role in the Kingdom of God. We’ll cover three thoughts that will help us in that development.
