Unleavened Bread/ All Things
When establishing Israel as the covenant people at Mt. Sinai, God declared them to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. To guide and lead them in this covenant relationship, He set apart the tribe of Levi to “bear the ark of the covenant” and to serve Him in tabernacle service. To this end, God made a covenant with the priests and the Levites. The prophet Malachi bridges the past application of this covenant with the present. The Church as a holy and royal priesthood has a responsibility to fulfill the spiritual implications of the covenant of Levi.
