Tyranny of Choice
In modern society, we have the ability to fulfill our needs, wants and desire through a dizzying array of choices or combination of choices.
While having choice is beneficial, having many choices can also lead to unintended consequences. Having too much choice has been linked to issues like anxiety and depression.
Spiritually we are also required to exercise choice in our life. However, thinking that any number of choices or combination of choices that we determine to be right will lead to a strong relationship with God or to eternal life is erroneous.
How is it that we can make right choices and build our relationship with God and ultimately inherit eternal life?
