The Wave Loaves And The Bride
The two wave loaves offered on Pentecost have deep and encouraging meaning for the Church today. Although they were leavened, they were accompanied by burnt sacrifices which made them acceptable to God. While we are still human, we have leaven within us, but by Christ’s sacrifice we are acceptable to the Father. With this acceptance there is responsibility.
