The Person In The Mirror

Physically speaking, a mirror can truthfully tell us how we look and shows us what we need to do when something in our appearance is not what it should be. And spiritually speaking, God gives us an opportunity to look at our spiritual mirror with the intent to show us that spot or blemish that needs to be examined and eliminated in that spiritual sense. His expectation is that we are looking at ourselves, not just the time before Passover, but throughout the entire year. As we rapidly approach the Spring Holy Days, let’s take some time to ask ourselves whether we are indeed spending enough time looking through our spiritual mirror and what we might gain by doing so in regards to God’s expectations. Today, let us consider three expectations that we can look to.
