The Patience of The Saints
We are privileged to be able to know of a future for both the long and short terms. Today pictures the long view towards the end of one thousand years which has strong spiritual implications. However, we also see a future on this earth before Christ returns, which has both physical and spiritual implications. One ingredient we must have to handle both views in a godly manner is – hope. This involves both expectation and patient waiting. Hope deferred can make a heart sick. God’s law is the anchor for viewing the future
