The Mighty Hand of God
There are many references in God’s word to the hand of God. It usually recognizes the great power and might of God. That power and might is shared by Christ as He sits at the right hand of God. In that position we are told that all things have been put under His feet. That includes all principality and power, might and dominion. As the head of the Church, Christ delegates this power to individuals in the body for its benefit and orderly conduct. The vehicle for doing this is the laying on of hands. This is one of the prime doctrines given in Hebrews 6.
