Strengthening The Spiritual Family
Though Paul only spent 3 weeks with the brethren in Thessalonica, his desire for their spiritual strength consumed him. In his letter, Paul remind them that they were a part of the family of God. In the 5th chapter, Paul stresses the importance of comforting one another and outlines three essentials for a happy, thriving spiritual family. The three major essentials can be expressed as leadership, partnership, and worship.
