Spiritual Maturity
Christ said that many, who believe that they will be known by Him at His return, will not. He didn’t say that it would be a few, but many. How could that be true? Well, believers know that God’s intention for them is to grow into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Obviously then, the believer must continually be examining him or herself at a deeper level. That level is a spiritual one which reveals the “heart” of those who profess Christ. Only the spiritually mature will be recognized by Christ, at His return.
