Reverence
Reverence is a virtue that is practically non-existent in today’s societies.
Reverence was a treasured virtue in most societies before the Industrial Age. However, now it has no place in national and global discussions of ethics or politics.
The cornerstone of today’s moral, ethical and spiritual issues stems directly not only from the lack of reverence, but from its extreme opposite — irreverence.
Reverence is an absolute necessity for those who chose to follow God.
