Lay Down Your Life
Christ, the good shepherd, gave His life for the sheep to protect them from those who come to kill and destroy. His was the ultimate sacrifice of love. He also commanded His friends to love one another just as He had loved them. Following His example, His true friends will lay down their lives for one another, and God will write their names in a book of remembrance. Thus, they will be spared as a man spares his own son that serves him.
