Greetings,
The Holy Days are wonderful markers of God’s Plan of Salvation. They provide us with a constant reminder of important key elements for our spiritual growth and development. This Pentecost was no exception. Many have commented on a growing sense of just how much responsibility goes with being firstfruits at this time. It is encouraging to see spiritual growth and maturity as members strive to strengthen their relationship with the Father. Gillian and I enjoyed being with the combined group in Dallas where a true mini-Feast atmosphere prevailed.
We all owe our grateful thanks to those who put so much time and effort into making our service connections happen. To upload out of Dallas was a first for them and I know much work and nervous energy went into preparing for the event. In fact, so much of what is being done to provide technical professionalism for the website development as well as streaming services is done by volunteer labor. Many hours of personal time are donated so that we can have the benefit of the ability to “feed the flock” as well as disseminate information to a wide audience. On behalf of us all, thank you.
Feast of Tabernacles – Australia
A site for the Feast in Australia is being prepared and any visitors would be welcome. The site for the services will be the Wyndham Resort Torquay, 100 The Esplanade, Torquay, Victoria 3228. The Wyndham Resort can be viewed at www.wyndhamtorquay.com.au. Due to our small numbers we are unable to offer discounted accommodation. However, there is plenty of accommodation in the area, see www.torquayvictoria.com.au for more information. Torquay is about 1 ½ hours south of Melbourne airport and is located at the beginning of the Great Ocean Road, a spectacular scenic drive around the southern coastline of Victoria. Mike and Margie McKinney will be attending along with their sixteen year old son Mark. This will provide an elder in Australia for the Feast.
Warm Regards,
Brian Orchard
