It would also be helpful if you have not registered to please go ahead and do so.
This year there has been a substantial rise in food costs for which the Residence Inn apologizes. The cost increases have been caused by the suppliers and are out of their control. Consequently, the prices you see posted have been subsidized. It is our desire for everyone, regardless of income, to be able to participate in all activities.
In regard to special music, if you have talent and can serve in this way, email Bill Hutchison at whutchison@thefatherscall.net. The Children’s Choir music is ready for distribution. If you have not heard from Tina Carson and have a potential participant, please let us know.
Not on the schedule of activities but being planned for the hospitality room is a bingo evening and an open mic night. If you can sing or play an instrument for the enjoyment of others then this is for you. We will not have Karaoke this year as Jack Rector is taking his talents to Branson.
If anyone needs financial assistance, please make your request known to the minister responsible for where you attend services.
This year we have 4 official satellite sites along with a number who for health reasons will be staying at home. The opening night message was recorded this week and it will be available to anyone at the beginning of the Feast. All messages will appear as soon as possible after each service throughout the eight days. Much time and effort goes into making these things possible and all the men who will be speaking would appreciate your prayers. Cliff Veal is carry his usual considerable load of translating and preparing messages for the German and Madagascar brethren.
In all your own planning please don’t neglect your spiritual preparation or the needs of your brethren who may need help.
Happy Sabbath to everyone,
Brian Orchard
