Conversations on the Sabbath
We meet and gather together every Sabbath. We do so to be taught, so that we may learn and grow in understanding. Prior to service and after service we talk with one another. We may talk about many things. We can talk about our week and how we are glad it is the Sabbath. A day in which we are commanded to rest from our work. A day we that we can spend extra time in prayer to God. Since we are not rushing off to a job we can meditate on the blessings He has bestowed upon us. It’s a day to spend time with family and friends. In doing so what do we talk about? After all, is our conversation important to God? Does the Bible give us some direction? The answer is of course.
