Our Purpose Now… Spiritually Speaking
Just what is our spiritual purpose in this lifetime? How does God see us and the purpose that we should fulfill, both now and in the future? Today, let us examine what our purpose can be… spiritually speaking. It goes without saying that our purpose is not about us and of course, we should understand that it all starts with God. We see in Matthew 6:33 that Christ said, “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Some in the Churches of God have indicated that this particular Scripture is one of our primary spiritual purposes. It’s certainly something to think about in our journey through life… seeking God’s Kingdom first and understanding the promise that if we do, all things that an individual needs will be provided in accordance to how God sees fit. Certainly, God has indicated what He feels to His people. In this message, we will look four elements that direct us to the over-arching purpose… of seeking first the Kingdom of God.
