A Person After God’s Own Heart
God called king David a man after His own heart. What is it that made him so? Through faith, God strengthened him to face and overcome various life threatening situations as well as personal sin. David’s faith took him beyond what he could see and touch and reason about humanly. One major contributor to his steadfast belief in God was in his continual contemplation of God’s power and righteousness.
