Why Are There Trees?
We are more valuable than many sparrows, Christs tells us. Yet not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from our Father’s will.
This is a God who has His attention on us. Our very existence is marked by divine attention. So much of what we see in the world was made specifically for us.
Psalm 104 points us to God as the Creator of heaven and earth. We see the attention that God places on us and the world around us. This psalm also points us back to the first commandment in that we are to sing to the Lord as long as we live and we will sing praise to Him while we have our being.
