Success is not just a possibility for God’s people, but an expectation; we will give an account to God for our works in this physical life. Provided, real success is not primarily about physical achievements now, but spiritual wealth for all eternity. Yet the two are connected. Faith, boldness, and success in small physical matters in this life are important to our growth and God’s assessment of us.
Success must be founded on faith. We rely on God as our strength. He will supply what we lack. So armed, God’s people are commanded to act boldly. Right boldness stems from confidence in God, not our own physical abilities. This confidence enables us to take risks, extend ourselves into uncomfortable circumstances, grow, and win.
Right physical success is provision than enables service to the community around us. Begin with faith, take risks, apply the laws of God in letter and principle, and succeed.
