Christ’s role as High Priest is central to His sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins and His continued and ongoing role as our High Priest is crucial to being or becoming spiritually unleavened. We have to understand that there is absolutely nothing that we can do, utilizing our own means, to save ourselves from the penalty of sin. t is accomplished through the death of Christ. He became sin for us.
Our dependence on Christ is very important and we must call on Him continuously to help us stay on a path of an unleavened way of life.
