Unleavened Bread and Our Relationship with The God Family
As we were approaching the Passover over eight days ago, all of us undoubtedly focus on the fact that the Word who is Christ, died to pay the penalty for our sins. And Brethren, it is no secret that Christ’s role, nor God, the Father’s role in our own spiritual lives does not end with the Passover as we see in these Days of Unleavened Bread. Of course, we all participated in getting the physical leavening out of our dwellings as a parallel of what must occur in our spiritual lives — driving toward being spiritually unleavened — without sin. Finally. We all understand that we cannot achieve this on our own… it takes supreme help from another Source. That Source is the God Family. But today, let us look at how Christ’s role as our High Priest is not only foundational of His sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins, but crucial to us all becoming and remaining spiritually unleavened.
