Trials and The Master Potter
God is the Master Potter and we are the clay in His hands. He molds and shapes us through the various events within our lives to include the tests and trials we experience. Just as potter’s clay goes through various stages from raw clay to its finished product, God works with us from our initial calling until we are finally born into His family in the Kingdom of God. We are tested in various ways over our life time. Some trials go on for a long time and go on for a long time. Just as all clays are different and go through specific steps unique to the type of clay, so too God works with each of us in a unique way. We can’t compare our trials to one another. We need to humbly submit to God’s hands with the confidence that we are assured He knows what is best for each one of us. We have to seek His Holy Spirit and let it guide us as we allow God to work with us.
