The Goal of Learning
Throughout our lives, a lot of knowledge can be learned and accumulated over time, much of which we forget. If, however, knowledge comes from the source of truth, and becomes a way of life for us, then the ultimate goal of learning is to bear the fruits in us that God is looking for, which will last. One way we like to summarize biblical knowledge is by creating what we call “doctrine” from it, and making sure its thoroughly learned and believed. But what should doctrine really mean to us and produce in us? What key trait is required to really and truly learn?
