Spiritual Honesty
Do you consider yourself to be honest? Most people do.
However, honesty can either be a result of what is deep inside someone led by the Holy Spirit, or it can be merely a behavior that is followed only if the situation at hand is not deemed too difficult.
Spiritual, foundational honesty is something that cannot be swayed. God’s character is described as such and this same foundational honesty is something we need to be developing now, in this life. The real question then becomes whether our honesty is deep enough where we will truly examine ourselves to see who we really are in comparison to God, as revealed in His Word. If so, then it will become abundantly clear in our lives.
