So… Could We Actually Lose It?
Tomorrow is the Day of Pentecost… A time to consider our fruit… our spiritual fruit. God is looking for spiritual fruit from us. What are God’s expectations and what should we be considering about our own spiritual lives. Pentecost is a time to consider our fruits. God is looking for spiritual fruit from us. He is patient, but there is a time limit by virtue of our physical lifespan. We are constantly warned not to be complacent and to take action on our fruit while we can. Pentecost is a day on which we celebrate the giving of the Spirit of God. So it is an appropriate time to reflect on what we are doing with this gift. Just having the Spirit of God within us doesn’t mean that we are on the easy road or path. The parable of the talents should make that clear to all of us. We cannot afford to neglect our salvation. Today, we will look at what God expects from His people.
