In Luke 17, Jesus Christ compared the last days when the Son of Man will be revealed to the days of Noah and the days of Lot. Christ described both societies in terms of typical, normal activities of the day, but just below the surface, there was an undercurrent of widespread evil, ungodliness, and opposition to God and His law. Jesus Christ makes a point regarding Sodom and Gomorrah of Lot’s wife looking back and turning into a pillar of salt. In Luke 17:32, he tells His disciples to “Remember Lot’s wife”.
