Peaceable
To live peaceably is not just a nice sounding phrase. It’s first an obligation, a command to respect others through the respect of what is theirs, but it’s also a requirement to maintain and restore our relationships. Maintaining peace, stopping contentions before they start. To be peaceable is to do good when it is in our power to do so, to “bless those who curse you, to do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you”, because to do anything else is to deny the God that called us.Download Selection
