Peace on Earth, Goodwill Toward Men
Personal one on one communication today with others around the world is almost instantaneous. But it hasn’t always been so. There was a time when communication between two people could take days to weeks, even months in some instances. But the speed of communication became much quicker during the industrial revolution with the invention of the telegraph. This invention helped to bridge the gap between individuals in two different places. Whether they were a few miles apart or thousands of miles apart. As this technology came into use the early users recognized this as a blessing from God. A blessing that was pre ordained. And as this technology connected continents the early inventors quoted the Bible by saying “Glory to God in the Highest; Peace on earth , good will towards men.
