Patience
Patience is the ability to wait for something. To accept or tolerate delay.
In our day to day activities we must have patience. Through the various circumstances we find ourselves in we are to have patience with all.
Patience requires calm control of the mind, like the emotion of a fisherman with a baited hook. But we are not trying to catch anything, but rather wait to be given something.
There are many ways to develop patience. But the true way is to read and take comfort in the scriptures. For frustration, anger, hatred, and betrayal will happen to each of us. But we are not to revile back. We are to follow the example set by our older brother Jesus Christ.
We are to let the Holy Spirit lead us and guide us. It is through patience we can possess our souls, we can gain our lives, and receive the ultimate gift of eternal life in the kingdom of God.
