Path of Conviction
What is conviction? Where does it come from? How do we build it? We start by exploring our conviction of sin, as in a court, exposed by the law of God. We learn that the Holy Spirit of God can convict us to the true nature of our heart being naturally opposed to that law, and the penalty that had to be paid for our sin. We can then move to a “conviction of faith”. God can give faith, which should lead to growth of conviction to a godly way of life. That leads to action in our daily lives which requires courage and wisdom while living in this present world that is opposed to God and continually fights against our convictions.
