Mature Blessings
Have you ever thought that you understood a person, a situation or a concept really well only to eventually discover that you really did not? Why does that happen? It is because we only see the surface of a matter until we take it upon ourselves to explore at a much deeper level. Once done, our new found perception has the potential to startle us with the truth of the matter. Such is true with blessings. God’s blessings come in many forms, but it seems almost unnatural to explore the deeper ones to the point of understanding. It is easy to believe that health and wealth are blessings, but through faith in our God who blesses, we will come to see our hard trials in the very same light. Spiritual maturity is required in order for us to truly be thankful.
