Life is Connected
It has been said that the Feast of Trumpets represents the single most important event in the history of the universe. This day is about a new creation—a new beginning for mankind. This day pictures a time when God will begin to restore His creation and bring His government to this earth. It is an event that will change not only the earth but the whole universe.
Because I know what’s coming, because God gave me a view into the future, there is this expectation that when the time comes—as the day approaches—I will be ready.
But just because we know what’s coming doesn’t mean we are prepared for what’s coming. In fact, there is no connection between the two. Knowing doesn’t equate with being prepared. That is something else altogether. Knowing might make us feel smarter, but it doesn’t make us better.
Whatever issues we have today, we will also have them when Christ return’s unless we make a decision today to do something about them. And the reason for this is very simple: life is connected.
