Judging… Is It Really Wrong?
We all have felt that it appears that almost any form of personal behavior is now acceptable. Conduct that a few short years ago would certainly drive some form of law enforced mandatory punishment, is now routinely practiced by all but the very devout. Society, based on the fronts of utilizing education, religion, psychology, and other worldly hallmarks have provided a conceptualization that allows humankind to reason around what was once almost wholistically acceptable truths. The world tends to view God’s commandments as antiquated. This thought process has brought much of the world to a place where good is bad and bad is good. We see this sin made public in the social media sites, the news, and in everyday conversation. It seems that there are times that hardly any other form of evil appears to be not recognized as a transgression at all. And it has turned a condition that was once thought of as being helpful to now almost being a sin. So what is this condition… one so bad that all others are somehow seen to be good in comparison? You might be surprised, but the answer is called “judging”. SPS: so is it wrong to be able to decern what is right and what is wrong in today’s society? What does God think of it? Today we’ll explore a bit into this topic.
