Bible scholars commonly explain scriptures about resurrection as mere imagery, because it does not fit their theology. Yet the Bible cannot be understood without the reality of this promise. God promises a resurrection to life. Christ was clear on this point; the Father is God of the living, not the dead. The promises made to the faithful cannot be fulfilled in this life. Also, righteousness and justice are prophesied to be established on the earth. The same power that raised up Christ will raise men back to life. Death will be destroyed. God can and will retrieve you and me.
