Our vision is the unified spiritual Bride of Christ, living and representing the gospel of God’s plan of salvation for humanity. Our mission is to nurture the church family as a spiritual organism, feeding the flock and sharing the gospel.
Effectively completing the work that God has given us to do in the world as well as in our personal lives requires balancing many character traits. One of those balancing acts is between contentment and ambition. God created us with a desire to create and produce, just like Him, so ambition itself is not necessarily the problem. Sin changed the priorities of our ambitions; so its our job to use the Holy Spirit given to us to change our selfish ambitions over to the ambitious work of glorifying and submitting to God in our lives. When we outwardly live this way, with “humble ambition”, we are effectively preaching the gospel of God’s way of life. What a thing to be ambitious for!
