Meditating and discussing the meaning of this festival cycle helps to complete and correct our knowledge. We should each have facility with this story. It encapsulates the Gospel message and the doctrine of the Church. It is hidden from the world, and only through God’s calling and revelation that we come to understand it; there’s is nothing in this knowledge by which we can boast. Once seen, it is a powerful and encouraging proof of God’s divine power. Clinging to this foundation should foster unity in the Body of Christ. So practice telling it.
