Freedom from God
Freedom in the mind of man has little parallel to the true freedom God is giving us. We cannot expect to find godly freedom if we cling to the precepts that naturally “seem right” to our carnal thinking. Christ didn’t give His followers temporary freedom that many (who were under Roman rule) sought. He gave us the opportunity to have freedom from the penalties of sin.
