Forbearance
Forbearance is a key quality for the people of God. The term involves a debt, lawfully enforceable, that is forgiven by the one to whom the debt is due. The parable in the gospel accounts discuss this concept. The clear implication is that our debt to God, for which we have been forgiven, is great. In like manner we must forbear with one another and forgive one another. It is a quality of God we should seek to emulate as we take on the mind and nature of our Heavenly Father.Download Selection
