Excuses, Excuses
The Spring Holy Days are approaching rapidly… it is a time to reflect and self-examine. During this time we might consider how much we excuse things that we should be doing in regards to God and His Way of Life. There are many times we are a little bit inclined to offer excuses for not doing what we should have done ─ when we are late, when we fail to plan ahead, when we don’t keep our word ─ times we seek to justify ourselves to escape punishment or embarrassment or other negative consequences for our actions. How much more relevant when we offer up excuses to God. How does God view our excuses.Today, let us take a moment to examine excuses… more pointedly, what does God think about them? And finally, what should our attitudes be regarding them? Today, we’ll take a look.
