Evil Speaking
Part of the pure milk of the word is the overcoming of evil speaking. Hateful speech, that is, speaking in a way that we show God we love Him less than we should, cannot build within us a lasting foundation. Speculation that only satiates itching ears leads us away from (never closer to) the trunk of the tree. The Bible is replete with the only principles necessary for salvation.
