Directional Maturity
God has blessed His people by providing a way of life that points to a wonderful future.
It’s steep, winding, and narrow, but we are still expected to be going forward in the right direction on that path. We have to be directional thinkers.
But, it’s easy to become misdirected, and that primarily comes about by having an incorrect object of trust. There are some real dangers that subtly work to change our object of trust. Spirit led introspection can tell us what track we are truly on.
If our objects of trust are truly in God our Father, His Son Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church, and His plan and purpose for us, then we will be lead and pulled in the right direction. Our hopes, thoughts and actions will then reflect that. It’s something that takes time to develop so that we will stay on track and end up at the intended destination.
