Deleavening – Lessons Learned From My Car
We can learn spiritual lessons from many different sources if we are receptive. This year several spiritual principles were reinforced while deleavening my car. God desires spiritual growth within His people. A central part of this process involves the putting away of sin, represented by leavening. Lessons learned were that: sin spreads, sin is tenacious, and sin hides. God wants to have a whole and completely restored relationship with man. The putting away of sin from our lives is essential and has been made possible by the complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ as our Savior. It takes effort and it is not always an easy process to eliminate sin from our lives, but it must be done. It is only with God’s help that we can identify sin through the power of His Holy Spirit.
