Chronology of the Crucifixion
Christ and biblical prophecies concerning Him indicate that He would be three days and three nights in the tomb. It was to be the sign that He is the Messiah. Yet Christian practices surrounding Easter give a different account. Are the prophecies loose or vague? Was Christ who He said He was? A proper accounting of the events surrounding Christ’s death and resurrection are reassuring. God accomplishes His will and fulfills His promises. We benefit from respecting His Word and abandoning man-made ideas that diminish our faith.
