Centurions in the New Testament
The centurions mentioned in the New Testament are uniformly spoken of in terms of praise, whether in the Gospels or in the Acts.
A Centurion was to be vigilant, temperate, active and more ready to execute the orders he receives than to talk.
First we will look at some minor references of Centurions to see various situations and how they were used. Then we move on to 4 Centurions and cover their situations with an a little more detail. When a Centurion was was told what to do by a superior he would do it without question.
In a similar manner we have been told what to do by our superior. Jesus Christ has told us to love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind. And like wise we should love our neighbor as ourselves.
Now that we have been given our instructions we should be like a Centurion, with each of us fulfilling our instructions.
