Called for a Purpose
The Bible is clear that nobody can come into a relationship with God because of any deeds or righteousness done on their part to earn it. We are told that God the Father, from His mercy, “calls” whomever He chooses, and then that person must also choose whether to respond to the call. The appropriate response should be a lifelong commitment to God and His way of life. While it is a blessing and privilege, the calling is not just done for the benefit of the one being called, or just so that person can have access to information not normally available. There is a much greater purpose that involves the fate all of humanity. Will these special people of God stand up to take this calling seriously?
