God Has Called Us To Be Productive And Resilient
In II Peter 1: 3 it says God’s divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
When God compares us to sheep He is doing so to show us some of the amazing qualities He gives us through His Spirit. He wants us to use these qualities to overcome this world and endure to the end. Two of the qualities that sheep are known for are found in the resiliency of their wool fiber and in their ability to produce wool in abundance. In examining these qualities of sheep we come to understand that God wants us to be productive and always resilient.
